This floating thermometeris a useful safety aid for those with limited heat sensitivity, or parents caring for their child. This thermometer unit is water proofed so simply place the thermometer in the water to show the water temperature. If the water temperature exceeds the limit set by you, the LCD display will blink to give an immediate visual warning. When out of the water, the thermometer acts as a standard thermometer, and the temperature can be displayed in Centigrade or Farenheit.

Brief instructions for operation of the floating thermometer

1. POWER ON: if the unit is not on you may need to use a paper clip to press the reset button on the rear of the thermometer.

2. SET TIME: press mode button to display time. Press SET button for 4 secs to enter time set up mode. Press MODE button to adjust time, and SET to accept time.

3. PRESS MODE to alternate between Centigrade and Farenheit.

Batteries: requirs 4 AG13 batteries. Alkaline batteries are recommended. To replace batteries, use a small coin to remove rear plastic cover. Do not mix battery type. Please read instructions supplied with the product. Do not use mercury oxide batteries. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
